Shifting Sands combine Clowning with the techniques of walkabout street theatre to create easily recognisable characters that interact spontaneously and playfully with the crowds. We enliven and animate any event be it part of a large street festival or small community event. We require no special performing facilities, improvising with the situations that we find and so bring playful surprises to the public
We have performed at festivals, community and corporate events including Derby Feste, Organic Food Festival Bristol, Loch Lomond Food Festival, Arts Fresco, Glastonbury, Abergavenny Food Festival, Kendal Mintfest, Bolton Food Festival, Derbyshire Literary Festival, Arnold Carnival, Nottingham’s Riverside Festival and the Lincoln Street Theatre Festival.
